Brian MacNeice and Alistair Gray carried out a review of the performance of the Irish team at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The review analysed Ireland’s planning, preparation and performance at the Games and concluded that Ireland is under performing relative to comparator nations.


We highlighted a ten point plan of action to address this in the lead up to future Games including London 2012.
