The Challenge
Towards the end of 2000 Rémy Cointréau, the leading international drinks company merged with Bols, the Dutch liquor company to form one of the world’s leading drinks marketers. The issue was to integrate the businesses and, more importantly, the two diverse cultures.

Our Approach
Genesis engaged the management group in an innovative process, which raised the issues and through a series of events developed a vision for the new organisation.

Project Blending was a major change initiative designed to accelerate the
implementation of strategy as well as achieving the planned synergies.

The Outcome
The result has been a committed and enthused management group engaged in a
number of strategically important initiatives. Early wins have resulted, and planned
profit improvement secured.
